RT. HON. (COMR.) FRIDAY OSSAI OSANEBI

DEPUTY SPEAKER OF THE SIXTH ASSEMBLY

Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi was born on  7th of October, to the families of Chief and Mrs. Ossai Osanebi  of Umuedem Quarters in Beneku Town, Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State.

He attended Eke Model Primary School, Kwale in Ndokwa-West Local Government Area of Delta State, afterwards proceeded to James Welch Grammar School, Emevor . He later gained admission into the prestigious Enugu State University of Science And Technology ESUT where he undertook a Degree course in Material and Metallurgical Engineering and graduated.

At a tender age, Osanebi found his feet in the global oil and gas market and a very successful business man.

The Deputy Speaker, who was christened: ” The Empowerment Master” by the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan; is an “authority”  in Human Capital Development and Empowerment. He has an unflinching dedication towards establishing people: Socially, Politically, Economically and further  putting smiles in the faces of the downtrodden and rejected in the society. Osanebi has ‘refurbished’ many individuals by the grace he has enjoyed from God.

He is a philanthropist and has empowered over 1200 widows across Ndokwa Nation.

Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi is a man with a large heart and father to many Orphans throughout the Country and has placed so many elders, youths and women on monthly sustenance stipends. He has given out as gift over 600 motor-cycles to jobless youths and a well over 120 Cars under his empowerment programs. He has well supported small and media in scale At the last count, he has given over 6 million Naira to market women to boost, micro, small and medium scale enterprises.

Through his foundation, The Friday Osanebi Foundation, he has empowered hundreds intelligent and  indigent Deltans and Nigerians at large, and multitudes are still under his  boundless scholarship scheme. His scholarship programs knows no bound as it cuts across both the indigent students of Ndokwa nation,  Deltans and Nigeria at large. He has given over N15M to this regards.

As a result of his passion for human capital empowerment and to positively engage our youths, Rt. Hon. Friday Osanebi gave out N10M to the Delta State Job Creation Office to enhance the engagement of more youths, calling on other well meaning Deltans to support Government, saying Government alone can not shoulder the burden of unemployment.

Osanebi has severally demonstrated his love and  passion to help humanity -the essence of existence.

Through his foundation, The Friday Osanebi Foundation, hundreds of primary and secondary school students have received school fees from him to help parents and guardians of Delta State, shoulder the burdens of school fees, occasioned by the present economic crunch.
